ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for an idea-sharing event on “Shaping Upcoming Generations” that will bring together some of the best forwardlooking ideas within Seattle University and the Greater Seattle Area to answer the question “How can we positively influence upcoming generations of people?”

This all-day event will bring speakers and audience members, including local students, faculty, community leaders, and business partners, into one collaborative space where we will go beyond common narratives of “giving the youth a voice” and “empowering tomorrow’s leaders.” Our speakers will share their perspectives on what we can do, how we can do it, and why this topic is so important.

Every talk will be filmed and made available for public consumption after being submitted to the parent company, TED.com. Upon being released, we hope these talks influence the hearts and minds of all those who view it to make deliberate choices that have the youth, and thus the future, in mind.
